Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Research Unit Ghent
Roel De Ridder is a visiting professor at the department of rehabilitation sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Ghent University. His main area of expertise is the biomechanics, pathomechanics and rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system with focus on the lower extremity, including the role of core stability. Currently, his research team focusses on biomechanics, fatigue and load monitoring in relation to overuse injuries in volleyball players.
